Anne (she/her/hers pronouns) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern in the state of Oregon. She received her Master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling Psychology from George Fox University. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and has worked for over two decades in global organizations. In a “plugged in” world, Anne finds “…healing begins when we pause, listen and intentionally create alignment.”
Anne believes that people are motivated to live authentically according to their core values. At times, stress, circumstances, change, personal biology and trauma can impact the ability to feel engaged and alive. Anne believes a therapist creates a safe space to help guide clients to wellness. She uses evidenced-based approaches to collaborate with clients to develop skills that promote healthy ways to think and process emotions. Anne draws upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, narrative and strengths-based approaches. This may include mindfulness and experiential activities in the service of each client’s unique needs.
“I will work to guide you on a discovery process to become more fully aware of your strengths and opportunities for new skills. Awareness becomes the seed for change that is unique to how you want to live. Together we can co-create a more balanced life.” Anne has experience working with anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, life transitions, change, and trauma across the lifespan.
