“I believe that everyone is an expert of their personal experience, and therapy is a collaborative experience that should be tailored to the unique and individual needs of each client,” she says. Lucia is a systems thinker. She takes special interest in the relationships and family history of her clients because humans are relational beings, and relationships have the power to influence the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Lucia has experience working with children and the Latinx population. Her areas of study include child development, human sexuality, religious/spiritual abuse, domestic and intimate partner violence, and psychotherapy with children and adults. She also incorporates solution-focused, emotion-focused, contextual, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
In her free time, Lucia enjoys vegan baking and spending time with her family.
