Marchelle (she/her/hers pronouns) is the Marriage Preparation Coordinator and Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, having completed her Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Washington State University. She is currently in the medical field as an Executive Assistant, and previously worked at Nordstrom, American Family Insurance, and The Grotto.
Marchelle has been connected with The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center since 1999 in various roles.
Marchelle partners with clients to understand their needs and provide a safe, collaborative space, free of judgment, that honors clients’ goals, preferences, and traditions. Marchelle believes that “as the client, this is your story, and I am here to hear you. I look forward to building relationships and helping you navigate life.” She is skilled in couples and individual counseling, and uses person-centered, CBT, and trauma-informed therapies. Marchelle is a practicing Catholic and can offer faith-based counseling upon request.
In her free time, Marchelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting out in the sunshine, and exploring pet-friendly places with her fur baby. Marchelle is also actively involved in the community and volunteers for local non-profit organizations that are close to her heart.
